Kelli Elizabeth Moss became Kelli Moss Brown on August 3rd, 2013 in Columbia, South Carolina. The ceremony was held at the St. Peter's Catholic Church and the reception was at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. Kelli wore a beautiful Enzoani gown with lace and subtle beading. She could not have looked better! Her smile has been greatly missed in our store and we are honored to have her as our December bride of the month! This is what Kelli had to say:
"To my surprise, I ended up being the pickiest bride ever. My mom arranged a whole day of shopping in Atlanta, so I had probably gone about twelve different places before we tried La Raine's. When my mom, maid of honor, and I walked into La Raine's at 8:00 on that cold, rainy Saturday night, we immediately noticed that it just felt different than any other place we'd been so far.
Shortly after walking in, I met Michelle. Words can't describe how amazing she is. She talked with me about what I was looking for in my wedding gown, helped me pull some dresses that she thought I'd like, and managed to hide how disgusted she had to have been over my lack of fashion knowledge.
Once we got into the fitting room, Michelle's reaction was the first that I saw. Since I didn't have a mirror to see myself until I stepped out, I had to rely on her face to tell me if we had a contender or not. After about eight dresses, we had some great options, but I told Michelle that there was one dress that I'd seen while we were pulling dresses that I just couldn't get out of my mind. I grabbed it, put it on with Michelle's assistance, and turned for her reaction… Her face was completely blank. "You hate it," I said. She replied that no, she didn't hate it, she just didn't want me to fall in love with something that was out of the price range we'd previously discussed (Seriously, how amazing is she?). Not knowing what reaction I'd be getting from my small audience outside, I walked out with a puzzled look on my face. As I turned to face the mirror, I was in complete shock. Not only had I finally ended the long, tedious wedding gown hunt, but I'd found the most beautiful dress I'd ever laid eyes on.
La Raine's is simply the best. They have an amazing location, flawless dresses, and a warm and inviting staff. I couldn't have enjoyed my experience more, and (close your ears, La Raine!), I would've paid double for the gown of my dreams."
